The Mummy Tag

I have finally come round to responding to Bridget @_mummy_bee’s the Mummy Tag post. I have answered 20 questions and I hope it helps in getting to know a little bit more about me 🙂

1.  Are you a stay at home mum or a working mum?

I am a working mum and I’m currently on maternity leave.

2. Would you have it any other way?

Yes, if I had the opportunity I would stay home with the children until school age.

3. Do you co-sleep?

Yes, I have done so with all 3 of my children, it worked out better for us this way *covers face*

4.What is your one must-have item for your baby?

Baby wipes, they are life savers & universal.

5. How many kids do you plan on having?

I originally wanted to have 6 children but after having our first son we agreed on 3. I guess no more babies for me then 🙁

6. Date night, how often do you have them?

We used to have date nights every 2 weeks with my first but it’s getting more difficult now with 3 children and work. My youngest is now 9 months and we’ve only just got back into the swing of things, I’m hoping to have a date night at least once a month.

7.Your child’s favourite show?

My children are of different ages so they have different interests, however, the only show currently bringing them together is good ol Peppa Pig!!

8. Name one thing you bought before you had your baby and ended up not using?

Moses basket, still brand spanking new because my daughter never wanted to be put down, like literally! My close friend is due to have a baby in May so I guess I don’t need to look for a baby shower gift 🙂

9. Your child’s favourite food?

My eldest (6 years old) – spag bol with lots of cheese on top & garlic bread

My second (2 years old) – bangers & mash

My youngest (9 months) – is enjoying everything at the moment but if I were to choose, her favourite would have to be sweet potato & fish. Let me know if you would like the recipe 🙂

10.  How many cars do your family own?

11. Weight gain before pregnancy, during, after and now.

I can’t remember how much I weighed during pregnancy but I was a size 10/12 before and I quickly went back to this size 2 weeks postpartum, thanks to breastfeeding.

12. Dream holiday with your kids?

Disney land Orlando. I think I would probably re-live my childhood memories too

13. Dream holiday without your kids?

I have always wanted to go to the Maldives or Bora Bora with my hubby… just thinking about these places makes me relax

14. How has your life changed since having kids?

Too much has changed since having kids, I don’t have much of a social life anymore, everything I do must be planned in advance and I am surprised at how I am able to function on 3hours sleep. I am super mum and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

15. Finish the sentence “it makes my heart melt when…”

my kids say “love you mummy”

16. Where do you shop for your kids?

Mothercare, h&m, Marks & spencer, Primark and Next kids to name a few but to be honest, anywhere I see anything nice…

17. Favourite makeup and skincare products

My favourite foundations would have to be Bobbie brown moisture rich & Estee lauder double wear. They are the only foundations that don’t leave my face dry, they are so moisturising! I use St Ives (sensitive skin) facewash and Astral cream as a moisturiser.

18. Huggies or pampers?

19. Have you always wanted kids?

Yes, from a very young age I knew that I would love to have children of my own one day.

20. Best part of being a mum?

Knowing that I have the responsibility of raising little humans to become good citizens of the world.

Thank you for reading and getting to know me please feel free to also answer the questions from the Mummy Tag and send me your link as I would love to read it.

Thanks for answering the questions I enjoyed reading your answers. I am glad to see that I am not the only one that wasted money on a Moses basket, T never slept in his I never got to use it. I am just waiting for someone to get pregnant so I can give it away.
