Developing imagination : Miffy’s Bicycle Book #review

It’s no secret that my children love watching Miffy on TV so we were happy to receive Miffy’s Bicycle book to review. I believe in developing children’s imaginations so I read different genres of books to my children from a very young age. My second child recently turned 3 and we are gearing up to buy him his first bicycle so this book has come at the perfect time for us.

Both Miffy’s bicycle & Miffy are books by Dick Bruna, a Dutch author, artist and illustrator. As I mentioned, we were more attracted to ‘Miffy’s bicycle’ as we are looking to buy my son a bike and this book tells a story where Miffy, only a little rabbit dreams of a time when she is old enough to get and ride her very own bike. She details all the adventures she will have on her bike such as pedalling through the bright & colourful meadows, stopping to feed the ducks and being careful not to ride too fast in order to prevent a nasty accident.

The story is very simple to understand and the rhyming of the book makes it fun to read to my little one. The bright colours of this book is another attracting factor, my son was intrigued about Miffy’s adventure on every page as he pointed and asked questions.

Miffy’s exciting dream captured my son’s imagination, he is now very much looking forward to getting a bike and learning how to ride it so he can go on an exciting adventure just like Miffy. This book is a Dick Bruna classic that can be enjoyed again and again, it is suitable for children from the age of 3 and is available via for £5.00.

**We were sent these books in exchange for a review, all thoughts & opinions are my own and honest**

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
