Chicken & Prawn Stir-fry

– Minus Soy sauce


4 chicken breasts (cut into small pieces)

cooked and peeled prawns

3 tbsps of sunflower oil

2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)

1 tsp of ginger (fresh or blended)

1 red onion

Dry egg noodles

1 knorr vegetable cube

Green, red and yellow pepper (chopped)


  • Put dry noodles in pan and boil for 5-6 minutes
  • While the noodles are cooking, heat 1tbsp of oil in a wok and add garlic, ginger & chopped onions
  • add chicken, prawns and fry for a couple of minutes

  • At this point, you should see juice formed from frying the chicken and prawns
  • remove everything from the wok and drain the juice into a separate bowl
  • Heat the remaining 2tbsps of oil in the wok, add the mixed peppers and stir fry until peppers are soft
  • Add the drained juice, add knorr cube for flavour and return the fried chicken & prawns back in the wok
  • Mix everything together well and add the cooked noodles
  • Cook all ingredients for a couple of more minutes before serving

Cooking time: 15 minutes
