~journey to happiness~
My third pregnancy journey was hard and I felt low on so many occasions. I was unable to enjoy the things I love and I found it hard to enjoy my life in general (terrible pregnancy hormones)
As mothers, we tend to worry a lot about our children, home, finances etc and we forget to look after ourselves in the process. I think it is very important to look after yourself as it’s only with the right state of mind you will be able to take care of your day to day responsibilities. It goes hand in hand you see, you can’t be down & sad while trying to keep everyone happy. You may pretend for a long time but believe me, it catches up with you sooner or later.
When you’re genuinely happy you’ll automatically understand that you’re pretty much looking after yourself properly. I believe that having a positive attitude towards everything you do will help you stay happy in life. This being said, I have decided to focus on myself again physically, mentally & emotionally.

I’m starting off by adopting the attitude of finding time to do the things I love again. I know it can be difficult with three young children but I also know that they will greatly benefit from having a happier mummy rather than a stressed out mummy.
If you’re reading this post and you have been feeling low or demotivated, I encourage you to embark on a journey of happiness. Do the things you long to do, take special care of yourself and don’t underestimate the power of positive thinking! Nobody is responsible for your happiness but yourself.
